Calendar

As a Service administrator, the Calendar shows scheduled events for services assigned to you. You can filter the schedule, create and update on-request events, manage course instance events through linked tools, and open event details within that scope.

Event details

When you select an event, the sidebar may include:

  • Application ID — link to the application when you can open it
  • Title, service, subject, subject area (as applicable)
  • Course code, course title, course instance code (for course events)
  • Start time and End time
  • Language, professional, substitute professional (if assigned)
  • Status (for course instances)
  • Participating attendees count (when shown)
  • OPEN CLASSROOM — open or copy the meeting link
  • Created by / Last edited by
  • Cancellation details (who canceled and note), when applicable

For course instance events, MANAGE EVENTS opens instance management for that course.

Actions you can take

Create events

  • Click ADD EVENT, or select a time range on the grid.
  • New events are tied to accepted on-request applications in your services.

Edit events

Event typeFrom the calendar
On-request applicationUse the pencil in Event details, or drag / resize the block on the grid to change times (not into the past).
Course instanceUse MANAGE EVENTS in the sidebar—not by dragging on the grid.

Editing is blocked if the event is canceled, locked, linked to a transaction (billing), tied to a stopped application, or on a finished course instance.

Cancel and delete

  • Cancel — use the cancel icon in Event details for on-request and course events in your services.
  • Delete — available for on-request application events only; disabled if a transaction exists.

Substitute professional

On events with a professional assigned, use + / next to Substitute professional to assign or remove a substitute.

Track attendance

On course instance events where attendance is configured, Track attendance appears in the sidebar. It opens the same dialog as on Attendance Sessions. See Attendance.

If an event is missing

Confirm the event belongs to a service you administer and that active filters are not hiding it.
