Certificates

Generate certificates for your finished regular course instances when attendance is complete, and view certificates issued for your ongoing courses.

Use Certificates to generate pro forma certificate records for qualified attendees on your finished regular course instances, and to view certificates already issued for your ongoing course instances.

Accessing Certificates

  1. Sign in with a Professional account.
  2. In the left sidebar, open the PROFESSIONAL section.
  3. Click Certificates.

The page title is Certificates. Two tabs share the same heading (see Page layout).

Ongoing courses tab

You only see instances where you are the assigned professional and at least one attendee has a generated certificate (created when you set course completion status to Completed on the attendees report).

The Professional column is hidden because you are viewing your own instances.

Generate certificates (scheduled services only)

On the Scheduled services (courses) tab, when certificates are Not generated, choose Generate certificates from the action menu.

The dialog lists:

  • Qualified for certificate — attendance at or above the Attended sessions required percentage set on the course
  • Not qualified for certificate — below that threshold, with reason

The dialog details section shows the course title, instance code, and the same Attended sessions required percentage.

Confirm to generate certificates for qualified attendees. The instance is then marked Generated.

If you do not have a signature on your profile, generation is blocked and an error message is shown. Ask a System administrator to upload your signature from your user profile.

After generation you cannot edit attendance for that instance.

Ongoing courses do not use bulk generation from this page. Certificates for ongoing courses are created individually when you set an attendee’s completion status to Completed.

Generated certificates list

View certificate records for an instance from either tab.

Accessing the generated certificates list

  1. Open Certificates (see Accessing Certificates).
  2. On the Scheduled services (courses) tab, find a course instance where the Certificates column shows Generated. On the Ongoing courses tab, every listed instance already has at least one certificate.
  3. Open the Actions menu (⋮) on that row.
  4. Choose Certificates.

The page title is Certificates. Use Back to list at the top to return to the course instance list.

Page layout

At the top you see course instance details:

  • Course title and Course instance code
  • Attended sessions required for regular (scheduled) courses
  • Duration for ongoing courses

Below that, a table lists everyone who received a certificate:

Click Download on a row to save that attendee’s certificate to your device as an A4 PDF.

  • Scheduled (regular) courses — one-page certificate with attendee name, personal number, course name, period, attendance hours, issuing service, professional name, and signatures.
  • Ongoing courses — two-page certificate: page 1 matches the fields above (including the ordering municipality where applicable); page 2 contains standard information about civic orientation (SO).

Values are frozen at generation time even if the attendee updates their profile later.

Each qualified attendee receives an email and system notification when their certificate is generated.
