What is a mentor account?

A mentor account is designed for people who follow up on educational activities on behalf of a Customer organization. Mentors are typically people from inside the customer organization (or trusted by it) — who oversee specific applications and stay in contact with the learners participating in those activities.

A mentor account is always tied to one customer organization and to the specific applications the mentor is assigned to. If you mentor for several customer organizations, each one invites you separately.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is your main landing page as a Mentor, providing an overview of your daily schedule and upcoming events. This is your central hub for managing your mentoring activities and staying informed about your schedule.

Accessing the Dashboard

To access the Dashboard, click “Dashboard” in the main navigation menu.

Today’s Schedule

This section displays events scheduled for today only, helping you focus on your immediate responsibilities and current day’s activities.

Calendar

As a Mentor, the Calendar helps you follow events for applications and course instances where you are assigned as mentor. You can review schedules and open classrooms, but you cannot change events from this page.

Accessing the Calendar

Click Calendar in the main navigation menu.

Calendar layout

Control	Description
Day / Week / Month / Year / List	Change how time is displayed (week is the default).
Previous / Next	Move to another period.
Today	Return to the current date range.
Date range (title)	Click to open a date picker and jump to a specific date.
Show weekends	Show or hide Saturday and Sunday in week/day views.

Event types on the grid

Appearance	Meaning
Default color	On-request application events for applications you mentor
Teal	Course instance events for instances where you mentor an approved course application
Red	Canceled events (labeled on the block)

Select an event to open Event details.

Attendance

The Attendance area lets Mentors view attendance for attendees on scheduled course applications where you are assigned as mentor. You cannot change attendance statuses, course completion status, or attendance adjustments.

Only courses with Attendance tracking enabled have sessions and data here. Applications and instances without tracking do not appear.

Attendance appears under MENTOR in the sidebar. You see sessions and attendees only when you are linked to the Course application as mentor.

Accessing Attendance

Sign in with a Mentor account.
In the left sidebar, open MENTOR.
Click Attendance.

The page title is Attendance. Four tabs share the same heading:

Follow ups

The Follow ups page lists discussion threads on applications you mentor where the creator invited Mentors to participate and selected you on that thread. Use it for oversight — read updates from Professionals and Service administrators and add your own observations as comments.

You cannot create, edit, or delete follow ups. Your role is to view assigned threads and comment when included as a participant.

Follow ups appears under the MENTOR section in the sidebar. You only see threads where mentor participation was enabled and you were selected among the mentors on the related application.

Accessing Follow ups

Sign in with a Mentor account.
In the left sidebar, open the MENTOR section.
Click Follow ups.

The page title is Follow ups. There is no CREATE button.

Notifications

This page describes email and in-app (system) notifications for users with the Mentor role — what they receive, and who is notified when they take action.

Column	Meaning
Email	Notification to email (`Yes` or `No`)
System notification	In-app notification center (`Yes` or `No`)
Receivers	Who is notified when the mentor performs the action (sent sections only)
Notes	What the notification or action is about

You are usually not notified for your own action. Calendar cancellations skip the user who cancelled.
