Calendar

As a Mentor, the Calendar helps you follow events for applications and course instances where you are assigned as mentor. You can review schedules and open classrooms, but you cannot change events from this page.

Accessing the Calendar

Click Calendar in the main navigation menu.

Views and navigation

Date range (title)Click to open a date picker and jump to a specific date.
Show weekendsShow or hide Saturday and Sunday in week/day views.

Event types on the grid

AppearanceMeaning

TealCourse instance events for instances where you mentor an approved course application
RedCanceled events (labeled on the block)

Select an event to open Event details.

Which events you see

You see events linked to your mentor assignments:

  • Calendar events on on-request applications where you are a mentor
  • Calendar events on course instances where you mentor someone’s approved course application

You do not see unrelated applications or instances.

The filter panel (SHOW FILTERS) is available.

Filter values are drawn only from events you can already see.

Event details

The sidebar may show application ID (with a link when permitted), title, times, language, professional, substitute professional, classroom (OPEN CLASSROOM), and other metadata.

Actions you can take

  • Browse schedules in all calendar views
  • Open Event details and OPEN CLASSROOM
  • Follow links to related applications when shown

Actions you cannot take

  • ADD EVENT — not available for mentors
  • Edit (pencil), cancel, delete, or drag events on the grid
  • Assign substitute professionals

If an event changes, you are notified through the platform’s notification system; use the calendar to see the updated time on the grid.
