Notifications
This page describes notifications that matter when you have the Guest role. The guest role itself does not add a separate set of platform messages beyond what other sections already document.

Account, security, and invitations (all users)
Messages about your account, sign-in, invitations, password reset, email verification, two-factor authentication, GDPR, role changes, and similar topics apply to every user on the platform, including guests.

That includes notifications you receive (for example when an administrator creates your account, sends an invitation, or changes your system role) and notifications sent when you act on your own account (for example requesting personal data removal or resetting your password).
When you participate in applications or courses
Guests often keep the guest role while also taking part in sessions as a participating attendee. In that case you receive the same application, course, and calendar notifications as other participating users.

If you are not marked to participate, you will not receive those session-related messages.
Guest role and other roles
When you are promoted to another role (for example Professional or Customer admin), use that role’s notifications page for role-specific messages. Account and security notifications still apply to you as for any user.
Guests do not perform administrative or application-management actions that notify other roles.
