What is a guest account?

A guest account is the default account type in the platform. Every new user that registers in the system or is created by a System administrator without a more specific role starts as a Guest. The guest role is intentionally minimal: it provides basic platform access and acts as the starting point from which users are later promoted to a more specific role such as System admin, Economy admin, Applicant, Service admin, Customer admin, Supplier admin, Professional, or Mentor.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is your main landing page as a Guest. For a pure guest account the page is intentionally minimal: both dashboard blocks are empty.

Accessing the Dashboard

To access the Dashboard, click “Dashboard” in the main navigation menu.

Today’s Schedule

For a pure Guest, this blocks always shows “No events for today”.

Upcoming Events

For a pure Guest, this blocks always shows “No upcoming events”.

The Guest role on its own does not have events shown on the dashboard. Only the participating roles Attendee, Mentor, and Professional have events on the dashboard, and a pure guest has none of those.

Calendar

As a Guest, you can open the Calendar to see events for applications and courses you are involved in as an attendee. Many guest accounts see an empty calendar until they are added as an attendee on an application or course.

Accessing the Calendar

Click Calendar in the main navigation menu.

Calendar layout

Control	Description
Day / Week / Month / Year / List	Change how time is displayed (week is the default).
Previous / Next	Move to another period.
Today	Return to the current date range.
Date range (title)	Click to open a date picker and jump to a specific date.
Show weekends	Show or hide Saturday and Sunday in week/day views.

This page describes notifications that matter when you have the Guest role. The guest role itself does not add a separate set of platform messages beyond what other sections already document.

Column	Meaning
Email	Notification to email (`Yes` or `No`)
System notification	In-app notification center (`Yes` or `No`)
Notes	What the notification or action is about

Account, security, and invitations (all users)

Messages about your account, sign-in, invitations, password reset, email verification, two-factor authentication, GDPR, role changes, and similar topics apply to every user on the platform, including guests.
