What is an economy administrator account?

An economy administrator account is designed for users who are responsible for handling the financial and billing operations on the platform. The Economy admin has visibility into customers from a financial perspective and manages billing accounts, invoices, and transactions across the platform.

Economy Administrator Account Activities

Economy administrators can engage in platform-wide financial activities, including:

  • Customer Financial Overview: Access customer organizations’ billing information and keep it up to date
  • Billing Account Management: Maintain customers’ billing accounts, including shared accounts used for joint billing arrangements
  • Invoicing and Transactions: Manage invoice documents and the financial transactions tied to customers’ billing accounts

How to get an economy administrator account?

Economy administrator accounts are created directly by a System administrator. This role is not available through self-registration or invitation flows and is reserved for internal personnel who handle the platform’s finances.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Request Sent to a System Administrator

    • Reach out to platform support and request to be assigned as an Economy admin
    • Provide the full name and work email address of the person who will hold the account
    • Document the business reason for the elevated access

  2. Account Creation or Role Assignment

    • A System administrator logs into the platform
    • If the user does not yet have an account, the System administrator creates a new user account and assigns the Economy admin role directly
    • If the user already exists as a basic Guest, the System administrator updates the user’s system role to Economy admin;

  3. Account Verification and First Login

    • The user receives login credentials and verifies their email address
    • The user logs in for the first time and has full access to all economy administrator features

Important Notes

  • No Self-Registration: Economy administrator accounts cannot be requested through a public form; they must be created by a System administrator
  • Restricted Role Assignment: Only a System administrator can grant the Economy admin role to another user
  • High-Trust Account: Because the role can change billing and financial data, it must only be granted to authorized personnel responsible for the platform’s economy
