Notifications
This page describes email and in-app (system) notifications for attendees (participating users). This applies to users participating in applications or courses, including users who receive the attendee role after approval.

On-request applications

Courses and course instances

| Course completion status changed | Yes | Yes | Your completion status on a course you participate in was updated (for example In progress, Paused, Completed, or Canceled). The notification names the course, course instance code, and the new status. This includes automatic changes, such as being marked Canceled after remaining paused for more than one year. |

Attendees typically do not perform platform actions that trigger outbound notifications to others.
