Registration & authentication
What is a platform account?
Every person who uses the platform has a user account. Your account is your personal identity in the system: it holds your login credentials, profile information, security settings, and the roles assigned to you (for example applicant, professional, customer administrator, or system administrator).
You cannot create a platform account on your own—the platform has no public registration. Your account is created in one of two ways: you receive a platform user invitation and complete registration yourself, or a system administrator creates the account for you. Once your account exists, you can sign in on the login page using any of the available methods—your email and password, Google, or Microsoft—as long as you use the same email address that is registered on your account.
Methods of registration
The platform has no public registration. You cannot sign up without someone authorized on the platform setting up access for you. There are two ways your account can be created:
Account created by invitation
An administrator (or another authorized user) sends you a platform user invitation to your email address. You create your account by following that invitation link and completing the registration form (see How to register below).
Account created by a system administrator
A system administrator can create your account directly in the platform without you using the invitation registration form. In that case:
- The administrator enters your details and sets an initial password.
- You receive an email confirming that your account was created, with your email address and temporary password.
- On your first login, you must accept the privacy policy and terms and conditions, and you are required to change your password before you can use the platform normally.
How to register
If your account was set up through an invitation, follow these steps:
Step-by-step process
Receive invitation email
- You receive an email stating that you have been invited to the platform.
- The message includes a button (for example GÅ TILL EMIN / Go to Emin) and a full URL you can copy if the button does not work.
Open the invitation link
- Click the button or paste the URL into your browser.
- The link is secure and time-limited. If it has expired, ask the person who invited you to resend the invitation.
Complete the registration form
- You see a welcome screen asking you to create your account.
- Some fields may already be filled in (email, name, or other details supplied when you were invited).
- Choose a password and password confirmation, select your preferred language, and complete any remaining required fields.
Accept the privacy policy
- Before submitting, you must check the box confirming that you agree to the privacy policy.
- Open the Privacy policy link next to the checkbox to read the full text in a new browser tab (see Privacy policy and terms below).
Create your account
- Click CREATE ACCOUNT to finish.
- Use CANCEL to return to the login page without registering.
What happens after registration
- You can sign in with your email and the password you set.
- Your account is linked to the organization or role defined in the invitation (for example a customer, supplier, or applicant context).
Important notes
- No self-registration: You cannot create an account yourself. You need either a valid invitation or an account created for you by a system administrator.
- Revoked invitations: If an invitation was revoked before you registered, the link will no longer work—contact the sender for a new invitation.
- Existing account: If you already have an account with that email, follow the instructions shown when you open the link (you may be asked to sign in instead).
Signing in to the platform
When you open the platform, you are taken to the login page. You can sign in with your email and password, or use LOGIN WITH GOOGLE or LOGIN WITH MICROSOFT. All three options use the same account; choose whichever method you prefer.
Login options
- Email and password: Enter the email address and password for your account, then click LOG IN.
- Remember me: Keeps you signed in on this device for a longer period. Use this only on devices you trust.
- Forgot password?: Opens the password reset request form if you cannot remember your password (see Resetting your password below).
- Language: Use the language selector in the top-right corner to switch the interface language before or after signing in.
- Google or Microsoft: Sign in with the provider button if your account email matches the email on your Google or Microsoft account. You must already have a platform account—social login does not create a new account on its own.
Important notes
- Email and password are required. Empty fields show validation messages before you can continue.
- After too many failed attempts, sign-in may be temporarily blocked for security.
- If you do not have an account yet, your account must be created first—via an invitation or by a system administrator (see Methods of registration). Only after your account exists can you use email/password, Google, or Microsoft to sign in.
Resetting your password
If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? on the login page. Enter the email address linked to your account and click EMAIL PASSWORD RESET LINK.
Step-by-step process
Request a reset link
- Submit the form with your account email.
- Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email containing a secure reset link.
Set a new password
- Open the link from the email.
- Enter and confirm your new password, then save.
Sign in again
- Return to the login page and sign in with your email and the new password.
Use Back to login on the forgot-password page if you want to return without requesting a link.
Important notes
- How long the link is valid: The reset link expires 60 minutes after it is sent. The same message appears in the password reset email (“This password reset link will expire in 60 minutes.”). After that time, open Forgot password? again to request a new link.
- How many times you can use it: Each link works once. After you successfully set a new password, that link no longer works. If you need another link, use Forgot password? again.
- Only one active link: If you request a new reset email before using the old link, the previous link stops working. Only the link from the most recent email is valid.
- Waiting between requests: If you ask for another reset email too soon, the platform may respond with “Please wait before retrying.” You must wait 60 seconds after the last request before you can request another link.
- If you do not receive an email, confirm you used the same address as on your account and try again, or contact your administrator.
- To change your password while you are already signed in, use the Profile page (see User profile).
Privacy policy and terms
The platform publishes a Privacy policy and Terms and conditions under the GDPR section. These documents explain what personal data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.
How to read the privacy policy
You can open the legal documents in several ways:
Dedicated GDPR page
- Go to the GDPR page (for example
/gdpr/terms-and-conditionson your platform URL). - Use the Privacy policy and Terms and conditions tabs to switch between documents.
- Content is shown in the language configured for the page (typically English or Swedish).
- Go to the GDPR page (for example
During registration
- On the invitation registration form, click the Privacy policy link beside the consent checkbox. The policy opens in a new tab so you can read it before accepting.
From your profile
- On the profile page, a Privacy policy link appears in the Request removal of the private data section (see User profile).
How to accept the privacy policy
Acceptance is required when you create an account from an invitation:
- Read the privacy policy using the link on the registration form.
- Check the box: By checking the box you agree to our privacy policy.
- Click CREATE ACCOUNT.
You cannot complete registration without checking this box. If you try to submit without accepting, an error message asks you to agree to the policy first.
If a system administrator created your account, you accept the privacy policy and terms on your first login, together with changing your temporary password.
For users who already have an account, ongoing use of the platform is governed by the published policy; new acceptance may be requested when terms are updated.
Important notes
- Keep a copy of the policy for your records if your organization requires it.
- Questions about data processing or removal requests should be directed to your administrator or the contact details listed in the privacy policy.
